the kite runner book cover

The Kite Runner is an incredible story about friendship and redemption. For this design, I wanted to highlight Amir’s homeland, Afghanistan, while using pomegranates as a symbol of the evolving friendship between Hassan and Amir.

The color palette was chosen to create strong contrast while also reflecting the wealth and status of Amir’s family. I aimed to draw viewers in through the layers of the design, guiding their attention toward the central subject and the story at the heart of the book.
